  • Controlled Airspace : below 10000 ft. 350 IAS (Only Military Jets)

    ●  Non-Controlled Airspace : below 10000 ft. 250 IAS (Other Military Airplanes)

    ●  Supersonic flights above FL350

General Aviation Traffic

Provided that GAT complies with ICAO and local procedures they can assume normal procedures at double purposes airports (air bases with civilian traffic). They are required to comply with special procedures introduced by this Department or Iranian Division for military air bases with no civilian use.

 

Operational Aviation Traffic

All OAT flights required to follow Divisional and IVAO SOD regulations and guidelines. In regards to events and trainings, all OAT will be authorized and supervised by Division Special Operation Coordinator. Any participants interested in training exercises or events must be approved by Division Special Operation Coordinator.

  • Regulations regarding ATC Callsign

To control military bases without civilian use, the use of “M” designator in ATC callsign is allowed (example: OIXX_M_XXX). In the matter of dual-purpose airports and centre controller the use of “M” designator is subjected to receiving approval from division special operations department.
Approval for the use of this callsign is a separate matter from receiving approval to be a military approved ATC. Even those whom already received military ATC status need to apply for permission in order to use “M” designator in positions for dual-purpose airports and centre controller.
